Originally from Kanagawa, Japan, Nobutaka Mochimaru started dancing when he was 19 years old and earned  an A.A. in dance from MiraCosta college in California. Following that he earned a B.S. in accounting from CSU Los Angeles, but his love of dance and performing arts motivated him to develop his career as a dancer and performer. He moved to San Francisco to join a professional program in The Circus Center. He specialized in contortion with Serchmaa Byamba, a Mongolian contortion teacher, for three years. He has worked as a contortionist and dancer performing professionally in various shows regionally and internationally.

Born south of Manila in the Philippines, Kevin Carpenter was raised in the mid-west of the USA. He started out with gymnastics at 3, which in turn led to self-taught contortion at 9. He was inspired by Cirque du Soleil at and started performing professionally at 14 specializing in contortion with a small Theater company. He attended the University of Wyoming and decided to enroll at the New England Center for Circus Arts (NECCA) professional track program. After that he trained with Angelique (Erdenchimeg) Janov, a Mongolian Contortion teacher in Las Vegas. Since then he has traveled all across the US and into Asia performing as a circus artist and contortionist.
